Documenting Major Chinese Expulsion Sites in the West

Between 1850 and 1910 at least 150 incidents of mob and group violence against Chinese immigrants were known to have happened in the western U.S. Over the past five years I've been documenting the exact locations where some of these events took place. The map below shows the major sites I've found in this first phase of the project. I'll continue to add sites whenever I am able to document the specific locations.
